6th AFMA Conference in Tokyo will be held at Tokyo University of Foreign Studies, 13-14 May 2006
"Middle East Perspectives from East Asia: Diversifying the Middle East and Islamic Studies"
In the year 2006, the 6th Asian Federation of Middle East Studies Associations Conference (AFMA) will be held in Tokyo at the Tokyo University of Foreign Studies campus on 13-14 May under the title "Middle East Perspectives from East Asia: Diversifying the Middle East and Islamic Studies."

On the First day (May 13, 2006), an Open Panel will be held from13:30 to16:45, under the title of The Evaluation of Asian Diplomatic Policies: The Middle East: Experience in China, Korea, Mongolia and Japan.
It is free and open to public.
