In the year 2006, the 6th Asian Federation of Middle East Studies
Associations Conference (AFMA) will be held in Tokyo at the Tokyo
University of Foreign Studies campus on 13-14 May under the title
"Middle East Perspectives from East Asia: Diversifying the Middle
East and Islamic Studies."

On the First day (May 13, 2006), an Open Panel will be held from13:30
to16:45, under the title of The Evaluation
of Asian Diplomatic Policies: The Middle East: Experience in China,
Korea, Mongolia and Japan.
It is free and open to public.
